About the Pub
Historical village free house in a village still privately owned. The D-Day landings were partially planned by Montgomery and Eisenhower in the back bar. In the car park is the historic brewhouse museum and the house beer is named after Old Dick, the last brewer. The award-winning food can be enjoyed in the bar or the separate dining room. Tuesday is jazz night. Guest beers are usually sourced from within 30 miles.
