About the Pub Named after the 9 daughters of Aegir from Norse mythology, an independent, family owned establishment, focusing on artisanally produced beer and cheese. Go to this premises for beer brewed for taste, not mass consumption, alongside a menu that offers delicious home-made cheese based dishes, with vegan versions of all the main dishes. One of the few gravity stillages in the area, with a constant rotation of local and national ales. There is also an extensive range of bottled beers from various countries including Belgium and Iceland. A welcoming atmosphere for beer lovers from 18 to 80. On one wall there is a very apt quote by the great Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. The kitchen may close early if quiet.
